Arctia HQ

Situated next to the icebreakers beside Merikasarmi pier, the Arctia Headquarters is a floating office building clad in black metal façade compare elegantly with the image of the icebreaker ships. The building completed on a shipyard in western Finland and towed to site. There is a water ballast system which will maintain the floor level of the office building in the same level as the dock. The interior of the metallic “ship” is covered with warm lacquered wood, have an inviting atmosphere recalling old shipbuilding traditions.
